ANNUAL D-Y HIGH SCHOOL

MOCK CRASH PROGRAM

The Annual Dennis-Yarmouth High School "Mock Crash" program for seniors was held at the front entrance of the High School on Station Ave.  This annual event is sponsored by the Yarmouth Fire Department and includes the participation of the police departments of Dennis and Yarmouth, state police, the Dennis Fire Department and the Cape & Islands District Attorney's Office.  The purpose of the mock crash is to get the message out to the graduating classes of the possible consequences of their choice to drink and drive.

To coincide with this annual event the Dennis and Yarmouth Police Departments have been conducting seat belt pledge drives and surveys within the school community, encouraging all students, teachers and parents to Buckle-Up.
